MENA Capital, which was incorporated in late 2004, is an investment firm based in Beirut and regulated by the Central Bank of Lebanon.

In Real Estate, MENA Capital takes advantage of attractive opportunities available in the region to develop unique and differentiated quality real estate projects, mainly for residential and commercial use. Our target markets include Lebanon and the MENA region, with emphasis on growth markets, such as Saudi Arabia and Iraq.


Private Equity

MENA Capital, through the funds it manages, identifies and invests in/joint ventures with successful companies that are ripe for regional and/or international expansion, either organically or through mergers and acquisitions. It also invests in companies whose performance can be optimized through financial and/or operational restructuring.

In addition, MENA Capital assists clients in reviewing and structuring strategic transactions/ investments, in which it may participate.

Nabil G. Sawabini
Chairman & CEO

In September 2004, Nabil Sawabini founded and became Chairman and CEO of MENA Capital SAL.

In 1996, he founded and became President and CEO of Middle East Capital Group (MECG), a regional Investment and Merchant Banking firm headquartered in Beirut, with international and regional institutions and Middle Eastern business and investor groups among its shareholders.

General Abou Diwan
Government Relations

General Abou Diwan has a wide experience in the Public and Military Administrations.During the years 1994 to 2009, he headed the office of the Minister of Interior, and later managed the Vehicles Registration Department until 2010, when he joined MENA Capital.

General Abou Diwan holds a BA degree in English literature from the Lebanese University, and has extensive experience in Public Administration and Security Services.

Wissam Habchi has 12 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Research Studies.

Prior to joining MENA Capital in 2010, he worked in the Real Estate field between Gulf and Lebanon. He holds a Master of Strategic Negotiations degree from Paris 11 University- Paris, a Master of International Relations and Diplomacy degree from Sagesse University - Beirut, and a Bachelor of History degree from the Lebanese University.
